About Me

    Hi! I am Tiffany Garrett and I teach second grade.  I started out teaching 1st grade.  I thought that was the best grade ever... until I was moved to second.  I fell in love with second grade immediately and I am still loving it!  I have been teaching for more than 14 years and almost all of that experience has been teaching second grade.  I love the stage those 7 and 8 year old students are in and the curriculum allows some fun along with learning.  I believe second grade is one of the most critical grades for students.  It is the last opportunity to really build a student`s phonics, vocabulary, reading, and fluency skills.
